Shipping container swimming pools use the strength of a steel ISO shell to create a fully lined, above-ground pool that can be installed in a fraction of the time a conventional pool takes. A 20ft unit gives roughly 19 ft of swimming length, which is enough for laps in a domestic garden.

Because the container is structural, the pool can sit above ground, be partially sunk, or be craned into a courtyard that a digger could never reach. Units are supplied lined and sealed, and can include a viewing window, decking, filtration and heating.
